Backpack Review - Outdoor Products "Vortex 8.0" Day Pack

Описание: This backpack is made by Outdoor Products. It's called the "Vortex 8.0" I have used this backpack on several hiking trips, most of them on film. It has proven itself as a reliable and very useful day pack. This backpack offers several features that I normally don't see on backpacks of this price. Those include: hydration capability, compression straps, sternum strap and an overall well-made design. The Vortex 8.0 has 2,600 cubic inches of space, 2 main compartments and a hydration compartment, which has plenty of extra space. One concern I had that I didn't mention was that the bungee cords look to be more cosmetic than useful. Not only are they arranged in a pretty much unusable design, but they're not attached to the backpack very strongly and would likely break under any type of load. Other than that, though, this backpack seems like a good value and very capable. Outdoor Products guarantees their bags and backpacks to be free of "defects of worksmanship and materials" for the life of the bag. It doesn't cover normal wear and tear, but if it can be proved that the cause of a malfunction was from a defect, they say they will repair or replace it.
