Описание: The human digestive system consists of the gastrointestinal tract plus the accessory organs of digestion (the tongue, salivary glands, pancreas, liver, and gallbladder). Digestion involves the breakdown of food into smaller and smaller components, until they can be absorbed and assimilated into the body. The process of digestion has three stages: the cephalic phase, the gastric phase, and the intestinal phase.
මිනිස් ආහාර ජීර්ණ පද්ධතිය සමන්විත වන්නේ සුලු පත්රිකාවක් සහ ආහාර දිරවීමේ අවයව (දිව, ලවණ ග්‍රන්ථි, අග්න්‍යාශය, අක්මාව සහ පිත්තාශය) ය. ආහාර දිරවීම යනු ආහාර කුඩා හා කුඩා කොටස් වලට කැඩී යාමයි. ඒවා ශරීරයට අවශෝෂණය කර ගැනීමට හැකි වන තෙක්. ආහාර දිරවීමේ ක්‍රියාවලිය අදියර තුනක් ඇත: සෙෆලික් අවධිය, ආමාශයික අවධිය සහ බඩවැල් අවධිය.
