Albanese was 'pushed' on key points in second leaders' debate

Описание: The Menzies Research Centre's Nick Cater says he was "pleased" to see Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese "pushed" on key points in last night's leaders' debate.

During the Great Debate, hosted by the Nine Network, Mr Albanese was forced to essentially reveal he cannot increase wages.

"Of course they can't, the same way they can't bring down electricity prices by building new poles and wires - that's absurd, I mean somebody's got to pay for those poles and wires," Mr Cater told Sky News host Chris Kenny.
