45 acp ballistic gel test of the Cor Bon Glaser Safety Slug Blue round, this round is 145 grain +P compressed #12 shot with a poly nose and light copper jacket. Performed damn near as they state on the package. This is a round that is meant not to over penetrate, it dumps all its energy into the target. The round is rated at 1350 FPS @ 587 ft/lbs of energy. We even fired this at point blank range to see if it would over penetrate and it did not. Nice round, little felt recoil as advertised and feeding was no issue.
