One day, walking around the Northern Beaches a Greenstoker finds a bicycle in one of the bulky clean ups. The bike was in pretty good condition and that made his day, but all of that couldn't stop there. He "thought", he needed to show other people that there are still good things out there that can be reused then, the brilliant idea of combining the three things that he loved the most came up to life! Surf, environment and video production. Perfect!!! He combined everything and the result was great... the first video of the series "It is Free" in Manly Beach.

Who we are: The Green Stokes is a website about the environment. We are focused on showing people the importance of Reducing, Reusing, and Recycling. We bring to the Sydney Northern Beaches community videos, garage sales, events and an online store, all about reused, recycled and environmentally friendly products. On our blog we love talking about surf, music, art and more...

The project "IT IS FREE" it is a project to encourage people to use the "waste Hierarchy" to Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. To break up the old fashion and boring way to talk about this subject, we also talk about surfing.

In the project we show the most popular surf spots around the Sydney Northern Beaches, each one with it is own little story like websodes."
