Featuring the classic Chrome-Over-Aluminum Ludalloy shell, but hand-hammered and outfitted with tube lugs, this particular Ludwig takes a timeless sound and puts a new spin on it. Relatively dry and articulate at low tunings, and crisp and full and complex at higher tunings.

The stock batter head has been swapped out for a Remo Coated Ambassador. Original Weathermaster snare-side head and Ludwig snare wires.
Kit is a Ludwig Legacy Mahogany "Downbeat" configuration: 14x20, 8x12, 14x14, with the original heads. 15" Paiste 602 Modern Essentials Hats, 20" Zildjian Avedis, 22" Paiste Traditional Light Ride. Played with Vic Firth 5A Wood Tip sticks.
