The 2025 IM LS6, produced by SAIC’s premium electric brand IM Motors, is a high-performance all-electric SUV that will soon be offered with an extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) variant to boost its appeal and versatility. Built on an 800V high-voltage architecture, the LS6 combines cutting-edge design with powerful performance options, available in both rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive layouts. Depending on the configuration, it delivers between 216 kW and 579 kW of output, with torque reaching up to 800 Nm. Acceleration is equally impressive, with the top model achieving 0–100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 252 km/h. The electric range varies from 560 km to 760 km (CLTC), ensuring broad coverage for both city commutes and long-distance driving.

In terms of dimensions, the LS6 measures 4910 mm in length, 1988 mm in width, and 1669 mm in height, with a generous 2960 mm wheelbase that enhances cabin comfort and stability. Inside, the SUV boasts a futuristic interior design with a 5K floating touchscreen for the driver and a 3K display for the front passenger. An optional yoke-style steering wheel complements the tech-forward cockpit, while the center console integrates wireless charging, storage compartments, and physical control buttons for a balanced user experience. Rear passengers can enjoy added luxury with features such as a built-in refrigerator capable of both cooling and warming, along with a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, and a premium acoustic system for a refined in-car atmosphere.

The LS6 rides on a double wishbone independent suspension setup that promises excellent ride comfort and handling precision. Thanks to its 800V platform, the SUV supports ultra-fast DC charging, allowing the battery to recharge from 30% to 80% in as little as 18 minutes (0.3 hours) for select versions. Luggage capacity ranges from 697 to 1672 liters, emphasizing its practicality alongside performance. With the upcoming EREV version, the IM LS6 aims to expand its market reach by blending the benefits of electric efficiency with the extended driving range of a hybrid system, positioning itself as one of the most versatile and technologically advanced SUVs in its class for 2025.
