In today's softModder tutorial, we'll be achieving S-OFF on the HTC One. This is a more complete bootloader unlock than HTCdev, and is helpful for when you want to return your rooted and bootloader unlocked HTC One back to stock condition so you can get repairs done under warranty without a hassle. It's also great for installing another phones' RUU (ROM Update Utility) so you can get, say, the stock Developer or Google Play Edition firmware on your regular HTC One phone.
