Review:-
At launch the Beetle was completely non-drivable and had a lap time of 03:06.08. But lap times never lie. The car was broken and definitely got fixed where now it is the second fastest car in the game after the RSR. The car still handling issues but manageable. The car still loses grip while turning which can be a double edged weapon. For instance I barely touched the brakes around the AERION Circuit. I just turn and the car drifts around the corner. At the same time you easily lose grip around long corners and it is difficult to maintain a good racing line. The car has an actual top speed of 232 mph but struggles to reach it without nitrous. The car also has one of the best accelerations in the game. Although the Beetle is the second fastest car in the game, it is not easy to drive and will require a lot of practice since the car has completely different driving physics than most cars in the game.

The 1.5l I3 Hybrid engine swap delivers the fastest acceleration and the best handling for the VOLKSWAGEN Beetle. Steering sensitivity is set as low as possible while downforce is set as high as possible with Gas Drift Style.

Note that the RSR didn’t get quicker after the update, my lap time has simply improved.
