I just bought this amp: it is a RCA MI-12161 PA Amplifier converted to a Fender 5C3 Deluxe - both from the 50s. It is as I got it, although I have a new set of tubes, I used the ones that came with it. I have another amp like this (they are twins) but the other is to be used as a mic preamp and is in original condition.
This is the first test: I used my 90s Marshall amp speaker and my vintage Hofner guitar. Recording through a Shure MS58 into a Analogue Addicts UK tube preamp to my RME converter into Logic 5.5.1 in my old PC. I couldn´t resist and I used my plugin Distorted Chorus 2.
