Odyssey of the Seas: Ft. Lauderdale Departure on April 9th, 2022

Описание: On April 9th the Odyssey of the Seas set sail on an 8 night Southern Caribbean sailing. Originally scheduled to make a lap around the caribbean with a stop in Grand Cayman, covid restrictions led to several itinerary changes. Sailing round trip from Ft. Lauderdale she made stops in Willemstad Curaçao and Oranjestad Aruba as originally scheduled, as well as the addition of CocoCay in the Bahamas.

Along with Odyssey of the Seas the port was filled with Enchanted Princess, Celebrity Apex, and Celebrity Reflection in port. Following the departure of a cargo vessel the Celebrity Apex started her journey just past her 4pm scheduled departure time. The Enchanted Princess was also scheduled to depart at 4pm but was delayed in her arrival after a Holland America ship that occupied the berth Friday suffered mechanical issues and was delayed in vacating the space causing her scheduled to be pushed back.

The Odyssey of the Seas made her departure ahead of scheduled with the thrusters starting up at 4:50 and passing the Point of the Americas by 5:10 pm to reach the ocean. Down the beach the massive Tortuga Music Festival could be see. Shortly after we reached the ocean the Celebrity Reflection could be seen departing on time at 5:30 PM leaving the Enchanted Princess behind.
