What will you see in the video: What to know before visiting Camden town in London?
1. Why should you go to Camden town? - famous markets, top food hangouts, buzzing music scene, lively nightlife, canal and beautiful parks, Camden is one of London’s top neighbourhoods.

2. How can you get to Camden?
By tube: If you are travelling by tube, the nearest stations are Camden Town
By bus: If you are travelling by bus, you can reach the Camden Markets via routes 24, 29 and 134 (from London's West end).
By train: If you are travelling by train, the nearest station is St. Pancras
By car: If you are travelling by car, you can find car parks at St. Pancras Station or near The Regent's Park.

3. Short history of Camden

Camden markets are a relatively new addition to London, as the area surrounding Camden Lock was used primarily for agricultural and industrial purposes since before the 1800s.By 1985 three other markets were added either on or near Chalk Farm Road. During the 1990s, many of the old buildings at Camden Lock were converted into open market areas, and were soon renamed as Camden Lock Place. Today the Camden markets are home to six different markets, each with their own distinct and individual characteristics.

Go shopping at Stables market in Camden
Take a walk at Regent's Canal
Camden Lock and Regent’s Canal are part of the area’s heart and soul. Head in one direction and you’ll reach Regent’s Park, while in the other you’ll pass the revamped King’s Cross before reaching Angel.
Get an ethnical food at the Food market at Camden
Enjoy the best view of London at Primrose hill Camden is a lovely green neighbourhood and one of my favourite spots is Primrose Hill. Head to the top for one of the best views of the city – with the London Eye, The Gherkin, The Shard, BT Tower and Canary Wharf all in sight.
Enjoy the street art Shoreditch and Hackney are covered in cool murals and street art, but Camden has plenty to shout about too. Keep your eyes peeled and you never know what you’ll find.
Buy something vintage at Buck Street market - Buck Street Market is a must. This market is located on Camden High Street (a two-minute walk away from the Camden Town Underground Station), and specializes in clothing of all shapes, sizes and styles.
Visit (but be careful when buying) at Camden Lock market - Camden Lock Village is perhaps the most famous. These covered markets are full packed full of all sorts of unique and handmade items, and are located alongside The Regent’s Canal towpath
Enjoy some live music at Round house
