Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin inaugurated the 10.10 km-long Avinashi Road elevated corridor, now the state’s longest flyover. Named after legendary inventor GD Naidu, the ₹1,791 crore, 10-lane project is set to ease Coimbatore’s traffic congestion. Stalin also rode the newly opened corridor in his convoy, marking the official launch.
