People with lived experience talk about the barriers to healthcare faced by themselves and others with a learning disability from ethnic minority backgrounds. A working group was formed to help produce a report by the Race and Health Observatory who commissioned academics from the University of Central Lancashire, who worked in collaboration with Manchester Metropolitan University, Learning Disability England and the Race Equality Foundation on this new research.
