Spool Performance Helix Install N54

Описание: In this video, I go over the general steps to install the Spool Performance Helix Unit. The Helix is used to overdrive the factory High Pressure Fuel Pump (HPFP) in order to flow more fuel with your direct injection setup. In my case, I am running it so I can run straight E85.

You can also use this video as a guide to replace your HPFP if needed. I did not show the steps on removing the intake manifold, but it is necessary to do so in order to access the HPFP. This was done on a 2007 BMW 335xi 6mt.

The new High Pressure Line was a bit confusing to me at first, but everything worked out in the end. I believe Helix has their old version of the line on their website and are sending out an updated version of it.

Tools needed:
17mm open ended wrench
11mm and 13mm sockets/wrench
E12 socket
Vice or other holding tool to bend fuel line
5mm long Allen Wrench (see in video)
1/4" Extension with socket to use with 5mm allen wrench
Plastic cutting tool to cut engine cover
