AMELIE (Anchored Muscle cELls for IncontinencE) is a 5-year H2020 EU-funded research project, exploring a new form of a cell therapy to treat incontinence. Patient & Public Involvement (PPI) is essential to the success of AMELIE. There will be opportunities to help shape the research, take part in focus groups and surveys, read materials, and assist in patient recruitment to clinical trials. But what does PPI really mean and why is it important?
