Seiko SKX007 - Still good or out-dated CRAP?

Here I show the recently(ish) discontinued cult classic Seiko SKX007 I purchased from Creation Watches, it is the Japan made this one! It wasn't cheap at over £300, but I know these are going up in value. But why? They are not as well specced as a modern dive watch for £300 or less, yet they are collectible. People like me are nostalgic, and can appreciate a watch just for the fact it is a watch from the 90's when I was a spotty teenager. Not necessarily great times, but I did have lots of fun being a kid in the 90's. PlayStation, mountain bikes and eating too much chocolate (literally nothing has changed) are just part of my story, and buying a watch from this era brand new is kinda cool!
What is your nostalgic watch that you could still find new today?
