Older than Stonehenge and the Great Pyramids, the Belas Knap Long Barrow is one of the most mysterious Neolithic sites in Britain. In this video, we explore the "House of the Dead"—a 5,500-year-old chambered tomb hidden high in the Cotswolds hills, Belas Knap.
We start our journey not far from the Cotswold town of Winchcombe and ascend to the ancient structure.
We explore the chambers and the history of this spiritual place before heading back through the thick nearby forest and back along the road with far reaching views of Winchcombe and the surrounding farmland.
