In January of 2006, the patient of a well-known psychiatrist draws this face of a man that has been repeatedly appearing in her dreams. The woman swears she has never met the man in her life.

Days later, another patient describes a recurring dream of a man she does not know, who reveals to her intimate details of her life. When asked to draw this man, the psychiatrist is surprised to find the sketch closely resembles his other patient’s drawing.

The psychiatrist decides to send the portrait to some of his colleagues that have patients with recurrent dreams. Within a few months, four patients recognize the man as a frequent presence in their own dreams.

He has never been known to harm anyone in their dreams, but is noted to have an unsettling stare.

As of 2014, tens of thousands of people from all over the world have claimed they have seen this man in their dreams.
