Speaking to Sky News, Health Secretary Wes Streeting denies plot to oust Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
"I think whoever's been briefing this has been watching too much Celebrity Traitors" he says. "It's totally self-defeating briefing, not least because it's not true".
When asked if a challenge could come after next year's local elections, the health secretary says: "I'm not going to demand the prime minister's resignation".
He adds that Starmer is fighting for the country and "trying to turn it around from the absolute mess that we inherited".
