You may have noticed we didn’t do Anne Frank’s House or the Van Gogh Gallery- lines are exceptionally long (up tp 3 hours) so my tip would be to book tickets in advance! I hope you enjoyed our personal list of the best things to see & do in Amsterdam in 48 hours, mainly aimed at first timers! (special occasion hotel thats great for couples. Would highly reccomend this area (the Pipe), its full of great restaurants & cafes, much nicer than central! This hotel was in a beautiful quiet spot and isn’t far from the city centre!)

-Vondel Park ; Bike riding available at near by rent a bike eu & multiple others. Worth getting for two days & cheap!
Centrum (Amsterdam city centre, Dam square) Generic shopping & souvenirs

Sex Museum Amsterdam
Pizza Cruise bought online
Dutch Markets are widespread (ours was near our hotel in De Pijp)
Museum Plein (museum square) is great for art lovers & you’ll find the I Am Amsterdam sign there
STEDELIJK modern art museum
Coffee & wandering around 9 streets area
Botanical Gardens in Le Plantage
Hermitage cultural museum (alternative option : The Zoo)
Spicy Bali Beef Steak at Loetje (highly recommend, be careful not to accidentally eat horse meat if you don’t want to, many steak houses in AMS serve it without saying)
A’Dam tower & lookout (can also have a posh dinner there in two restaurants)
