Sally Zombie was the first Attack Line Puppet. My idea was to create a realistic zombie puppet that looked like it jumped on you and was trying to eat you. To create this illusion, I spent literally months designing and building the prototype called “Side-Winder Sally”. The Sally prototype was launched at TransWorld's Halloween and Attractions show. After getting some orders based on this rough prototype, I spent more months researching everything from materials to sound systems, re-sculpted and redesigned to develop a finished quality Sally Zombie Puppet product that I was happy with. The completed Sally Zombie Puppet was a huge success and helped me launch VFX’s Attack Line Puppets. We now have everything from zombies and clowns to witches and werewolves, with more ideas in the works.

Why are we doing this? I've been kicking this idea around for a couple years now. We know there are many haunters, home haunters and Halloween fans out there that love to create stuff themselves, and love our puppets. We’ve had so many people wanting to know details on how we make these products that I decided to team up with producer/director James Gregson, of Gregson Studios to create a detailed instructional course to show every step of how we make an Attack Line puppet.

Now you can go behind the scenes at the VFX studio and see how we make these amazing puppets, and learn how to make one yourself. I'm excited to do this and share the fun in creating these puppets.
