Sacajawea was probably the major reason the Lewis and Clark expedition was a success. After the trip, she faded away into history.
Is she buried at the Sacred Indian Cemetery at Fort Washakie, Wyoming at 100 years of age? Or did she die a few years after the expedition. History is unclear.
Let's go visit the cemetery.
