Irene Andersen grew up being influenced by her father "he is a blacksmith and works with his body all the time. My mother is the sweetest person on the planet, so I was a bit spoiled." Irene admired the structure, the build and the strength of the horses her father had which sparked her interest in athletics and bodybuilding. Now she is competing in her 2nd consecutive Ms. Olympia and is spending the last 2 weeks at Destination before she arrives in Orlando for peak week.

We get a glimpse inside her early beginnings, how she approaches tough times of prep and what she feels are the most rewarding aspects of competitive bodybuilding at the highest level.
