Introducing the Enneagram of Human Adulthood (part 2)

This week, we will continue discussing the concept of “Human Adulthood.” We will focus on a more specific version of the Enneagram of Human Adulthood to be used as a tool to move from the conditioned, segregated, sedimented state of perpetual inner childhood to the deconditioned, integrated, fluid state of human Adulthood.

This will prove highly relevant to those on the Path of the Work for the following reason. While one can theoretically jump to the “Awakened state” (the state of having “Awakened from the dream”) directly, this possibility presents a singular problem. If we have not first developed the qualities of Human Adulthood, we will lack the skills to operate effectively in the world while in the Awakened state. Without those skills, functioning will become difficult at best.

So, if Human Adulthood is so cool and so important, why don’t we hear more about it? Why does everyone talk about Enlightenment, while few address Adulthood?
Let’s examine these questions, and let’s take a look at the tools we have to begin our own maturation process.
