Navy Sailor Sports Quota Recruitment 01/2022: Indian Navy has invited applications for recruitment to the posts of Navy Sailors under Sports Quota. To apply for these posts, candidates can visit the official website of the department, joinindiannavy.gov.in. Only unmarried male candidates can apply for this recruitment.

This recruitment is being done to select eligible sportspersons for Direct Entry Petty Officer, Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR) and Matriculation Recruitment (MR). Candidates can apply in Indian Navy Recruitment 2022 through offline mode under sports mode.

Educational qualification

Direct Entry Petty Officer: Candidates should have passed the 12th class in any stream from any recognized institute.

Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR): Candidate should be 12th pass in any stream from recognized board.

Matric Recruit (MR): Candidate should be 10th pass from any recognized school or institute.

Minimum Age: 17 Years.
Maximum Age: 22 Years. for Direct Entry Petty Officer
Maximum Age: 21 Years. for (SSR / MR)

Sports Discipline Available: Athletics, Aquatics, Basketball, Boxing, Cricket, Football, Artistic Gymnastics, Handball, Hockey, Kabaddi, Volleyball, Weightlifting, Wrestling, Squash, Fencing, Golf, Tennis, Kayaking & Canoeing, Rowing, Shooting, Sailing and Wind Surfing.

Individual: Minimum 6th class in National (Sr.) OR 3rd position in Junior National or 3rd position in Inter-University.
