When it comes to ice fishing electronics I have an ever deepening appreciation for simplicity and light weight. Trekking through snow and across frozen lakes with 10 to 20 lb of fishing electronics is just not my cup of tea. In this video I compare the performance of my Helix 7 ice sonar with the Garmin Striker Cast sonar ice fishing in 10' of water for panfish.
