Описание: My pumpkins, gourds, cantaloupe, and cucumbers are infested with striped cucumber beetles! In this video I show how to identify them, the damage that the insect can do, and give at least 4 methods for treating and controlling them. I use an organic spray that includes neem oil, a mixture of detergent and peppermint oil, an organic powder called Captain Jack’s Dead Bug, and build a homemade trap. I have also ordered some commercial traps that are going to take a few days to arrive. The garden is in northwest Louisiana, zone 8b. It is an organic garden that features principles from Back to Eden gardening, Ruth Stout gardening, and regenerative agriculture.
