We discussed conflict between Yemen various groups including Southern Transitional Council (STC), Houthis, Presidential Leadership Council, Hadhramaut Tribal Alliance and National Shield Forces backed by Saudi Arabia.
UAE objectives in the region is to enhance footprint through basing facilities in Somalia, Yemen, Sudan, Libya for Maritime & Economic Control. Secure key ports in Yemen like Aden and Mukalla and shipping lanes like Bab al-Mandeb for its string of ports strategy, crucial for its role as a global logistics hub.
We also discussed Israel UAE Alliance in executing this approach.
