I decided to go back to mouse and keyboard, and once the controls were actually set, it's a much better way to play. Just gotta turn off moving on the one axis so you don't stop dead every time you turn. That still doesn't make the game good, but that and a new strategy did make the last level much, much easier. So easy that I decided to go replay the levels I lost, becuase I got no ending. Maybe it's becuase of Glide (3DFX), maybe it's because of not beating every level properly. Still don't know, becuase I died on the 4th level. I don't want to replay it again, I am done. I really have not been enjoying this game.
Between the graphics making it impossible to see where stuff is, and the completely obtuse gameplay that I still can't figure some things out with, this game was just more frustration than fun. I am done. On to the next one.
