The Payday Superannuation Bill 2025 is a once-in-a-generation reform that will make sure workers are paid their super at the same time as their wages, instead of quarterly. It’s good for workers, good for business, and good for our economy.
Right now, 3.3 million Australians are being underpaid super - that’s $100 million every week that should be going into people’s retirement savings. This reform changes that. By using real-time payroll data and stronger penalties for non-compliance, we’ll make sure super is paid on time, every time.
