Mardin Kasımiye Medresesi

Описание: Günümüze kadar mükemmel yapısıyla ayakta kalabilen medresenin yapımına Artuklu Dönemi’nde başlanmış ve Akkoyunlu Hükümdarı Cihangiroğlu Kasım Padişah döneminde 1457-1502 yıllarında tamamlanmıştır. İki katlı, kubbeli, tek ve açık avlulu medresenin inşasında düzgün kesme taş kullanılmıştır. Plan özellikleri, taş işçiliği ve süsleme motifleri bakımından ilgi çeken yapı, cami ve türbe ile birlikte külliye içerisinde yer almaktadır. Medresenin avlusunda bir çeşme ve büyükçe bir havuz bulunmaktadır. Güneyde ovaya açık bir cepheye sahip olan medrese, Mardin yapılarının en büyüklerindendir. Açık medrese tipinde, tek bir avlu etrafında düzenlenmiş, iki katlı ve tek eyvanlıdır. Kesme taş ve tuğlalardan yapılmıştır.

Güney cephesinden, bir taç kapının bağladığı beşik tonozlu bir koridordan geçilerek girilir. Batısında diğer kısımlarla girişi aynı olan, bağımsız bir mescit mekânı vardır. Doğuda iki kat boyunca yükselen camisi mevcuttur. Portalden girilen revaklı büyük avlunun etrafında, iki kat üzerine revaklar arasına dizilmiş hücrelerden oluşmaktadır. Avlunun kuzeyinde, ikinci katı da kesen büyük eyvan ve onun önünde bir havuz mevcuttur. Burası tek başına bir medrese olarak değil bir külliye gibi düşünülmüş olmalıdır. Yanında bulunan zaviye-türbe bunun kanıtıdır.

The construction of the madrasah, which has survived until today with its perfect structure, started in the Artuqid Period and was completed in 1457-1502 during the reign of Akkoyunlu Ruler Cihangiroğlu Kasım Padishah. Smooth cut stone was used in the construction of the two-storey, domed, single and open courtyard madrasah. The structure, which attracts attention in terms of its plan features, stonework and ornament motifs, is located in the complex together with the mosque and tomb. There is a fountain and a large pool in the courtyard of the madrasah. The madrasah, which has an open front to the plain in the south, is one of the largest structures in Mardin. It is open madrasah type, arranged around a single courtyard, has two floors and a single iwan. It is made of cut stone and bricks.

It is entered from the south side by passing through a barrel vaulted corridor connected by a crown door. There is an independent masjid place on the west, which has the same entrance as the other parts. There is a mosque rising on two floors in the east. It consists of cells lined up between the cloisters on two floors, around the large courtyard with a portico, which is entered through the portal. To the north of the courtyard, there is a large iwan that cuts the second floor and a pool in front of it. This place should have been thought of as a complex, not as a madrasah on its own. The zawiya-shrine next to it is proof of this.
