The Cheetah, and the Puma come from the same sub family of cats.
Cheetahs have an upper coat of fur that is tawny, pale buff or grayish white, with underparts that are paler, and whiter. Black spots are set close together on the pelage with a series of black rings around the last one-third of the tail.
The heads of male Cheetahs are slightly larger than females.
Fastest mammal on land, the cheetah can reach speeds of 97, or 113 kilometers an hour over short distances.
Unlike the rest of the group, cheetahs can’t roar, though they can purr.
The Puma, also referred to as mountain lion, cougar, or panther is a large cat native to the Americas.
