Lusoria - which translates as 'Dancer' or 'Playful' are the roman fast attack craft for the Rhine and Danube rivers. Designed to take a small unit of soldiers on patrols or straight into combat with the enemy. When I visited Xanten in Germany, I got to see two of these amazing vessels that had been reconstructed for the public to enjoy!
