The Rockaway Beach Spur is a railroad owned and operated by the Long Island Rail Road in Queens, New York City, United States. The line leaves the main line at the Whiteport Junction at Rego Park, travels south through Ozone Park, across Jamaica Bay to Hamels in Rockaway, and turns west to its terminus at Rockaway Park. En route, it connects to the Montauk branch near Glendale, the Atlantic branch near Woodhaven, and the Far Rockaway branch at Hammels.

The Far Rockaway Branch is an electric railroad and service owned and operated by the Long Island Rail Road in upstate New York.

Beach Channel Drive is the main thoroughfare on the Rockaway Peninsula in the Queens borough of New York City. It runs west from the Nassau County line in Inwood to the Marine Parkway-Gil Hodges Memorial Bridge at the end of Jacob Ris Park. Westward from Hammels, it follows Jamaica Bay on the northern side of the peninsula.
Opened on November 27, 1927, Beach Channel Drive is a relatively short street west of the current site of the Transbay Veterans Memorial Bridge. It was later enlarged by merging some existing avenues and building some connecting roads.

Drive was the starting point for the first transatlantic flight. On May 8, 1919, four U.S. Navy Navy-Curtis seaplanes took off from Neponsit, bound for the British colonies of Newfoundland, the Azores, and Lisbon, Portugal. On May 31, one of the planes, piloted by Lieutenant Colonel Albert C. Read, arrived in Plymouth, England.
