Brooks is one of fewer than 30 patients to have a new in-utero cardiac procedure that is only offered in Houston at Texas Children’s. To give him the best chance of survival, the fetal surgeons at Texas Children’s performed the new surgical technique to place a stent in his heart while still in the womb.
