How to make a Kiridashi Neck Knife from a Lawnmower Blade (3 day knife making challenge)

Описание: Here's how to make a Kiridashi knife out of scrap of old lawnmower blade. This is the final installment of my 3 knives in 3 days challenge. I made it! Whew! (Not as easy as you might think).

I haven't made a kiridashi before, but I've been curious about why they're so popular. Well, after working for hours and making what I assumed would be an easy knife (yeah, not so easy) I can honestly say it was totally worth it. There's just something about the clean, precise feel of this knife in your hand. Really! Try one!

Tools used on this project included:
Homemade forge, homemade tongs, metal files, sandpaper, Harbor Freight belt sander, bench vice and belt grinder... and LOTS more.
