VW Golf R 2.0 TFSI 315bhp/320ps Dyno Test with Bluespark Tuning Box

Описание: In this dyno test we had this 2023 VW Golf R 2.0 320hp in for an install and testing. It’s always great to have these in, as you already know that they will push pretty decent stock figures. We installed our 3 Channel Pro Petrol SENT chip tuning box and loaded it on to the rollers.

As is the case with most similar engines produced by VAG which are 2021 onwards, they can sometimes be tricky when it comes to tuning, whether that be a remap or a tuning box. This is down to the fact that the data transmission protocol is in the form of digital signals, rather than the standard analogue signals.

Our SENT tuning boxes are carefully designed in that way, so that they operate within the parameters of this technology, whilst still giving you great performance gains.

Dyno testing before and after shows healthy gains across the rev range, with a significant increase in power and torque.

Peak power was increased, we were able to lift it from 315hp at stock, up to 371hp with the box. Taking a look at the dyno graph here 0:43 you can see how the curve changes (dotted red and blue lines), bringing that power in, right down from those lower revs and showing improvements across the whole rev range.

Torque with our box is also greatly improved. At stock the engine produced 424Nm, and now 506Nm with the box, so a significant increase of 82Nm. Again, taking a look at the graph (solid lines), you can really see the difference in that curve, seeing those gains start to climb right down at 2400rpm and holding those right throughout the revs.
