The DITA Flight 006 sits at the intersection of design, engineering, and cultural influence.

Often recognised as the frame worn by Tony Stark as E.D.I.T.H. in Avengers: Endgame, the Flight 006 carries a cinematic association, but its real story starts long before film. This frame is part of DITA’s Flight Series, a tribute to post-war fighter pilots, inspired by precision, restraint, and the quiet confidence of advanced machinery.

Crafted in Japan from lightweight beta-titanium, the Flight 006 is a modern navigator that feels almost weightless on the face. Its proportions are beautifully balanced, making it especially wearable on petite to medium faces. Look closer and the details begin to reveal themselves: diamond-pressed titanium, sculpted bridges, engraved temples, and a delicate acetate inner rim that floats within the metal structure, adding warmth, definition, and architectural clarity.

When a client brought these frames into the gallery, the lens work had to respect the same philosophy. Nothing loud. Nothing unnecessary.

We fitted bespoke varifocal lenses, engineered for seamless clarity across all distances. A subtle 20% graduated grey tint softens everyday light and reduces visual fatigue, while Transitions Grey allows the lenses to respond naturally outdoors. To finish, we added our Glamour Coating. A refined golden anti-glare layer that ties the titanium hardware to the lens surface visually, while reducing glare, halos, and night-time distractions.

This isn’t smart eyewear.
But it feels intelligent.

As a lifelong comic book fan myself, even leaning more DC than Marvel, there’s no denying that any fan of design, technology, or storytelling would recognise the appeal of a frame like this. And with AI eyewear moving fast, the Flight 006 already feels like a blueprint for what intelligent eyewear could become.
