I hadn’t lived at home since I left for college at 17, and this wasn’t how I thought my life would look in my 30s. I expected to move back out quickly. I expected things to “work out” faster. A year later, I’m still here — and I see this season very differently.

This video is about expectations vs. reality, the shame I didn’t expect to feel, the unexpected blessings I did find, and why going “backwards” sometimes isn’t failure at all — it’s redirection. It’s replanting yourself in soil that can actually help you grow.
