These Big Lots stores in Florida are set to reopen next month

Описание: More than 100 Big Lots stores throughout the United States are set to reopen in the coming weeks — including a handful in Florida.

Variety Wholesaler, which acquired more than 200 stores as part of a deal last December, announced the first wave of openings in early April.

Subsequent waves will take place through June, according to the company. In Florida, five locations are reportedly set to reopen on May 15.

"We're thrilled to bring the Big Lots! brand back to life by offering more deals than ever, lots of famous brands and a new apparel department for the entire family,” Lisa Seigies, president and CEO of Variety Wholesalers, said in a statement. “We’re opening stores quickly so we can serve the community. We know the stores won’t be perfect to start, but each week we’ll add more new products as we build towards the grand opening celebration in the fall. Every time a customer visits Big Lots! we want them to find something new and exciting!

Big Lots, which previously filed for bankruptcy, announced in December that it was being sold to Gordon Brothers Retail Partners, and Variety Wholesalers Inc. planned to acquire between 200 and 400 remaining stores which would continue to operate under the Big Lots brand.
