Choir Practice: "Benedictus" from "Missa O Magnum Mysterium", by Tomás Luis de Victoria (1548-1611). "Missa O magnum mysterium" is derived from Victoria's motet "O magnum mysterium" which is perhaps one of the most famous works of the Renaissance period. In the Missa O magnum mysterium Victoria swings into triple time to great effect in the Hosanna which follows both Sanctus and Benedictus.
