Ang Kalungkutan ng mga Reyna is a one-act satirical drama by Floy Quintos that follows Queen Yolanda Cadiz, a former president who declares herself monarch of a fictional kingdom. Set on the day of her coronation, the play explores her delusions of grandeur through conversations with her royal hairdresser, revealing the absurdity of power, vanity, and political spectacle. Through sharp dialogue and poignant moments, the play critiques the dangers of ambition and self-deception
The play was staged in five performances in February 2018 by Teatro La Verdad, a theater company from La Verdad Christian College – Caloocan.
