The Amazfit Helio Strap offers 24/7 health and fitness tracking all without the distraction of a watch face, or a subscription.

In a category that up until recently only had the subscription based Whoop Band as an option, Amazfit entering the space with a £/$/€100 device with no subscription has started to shake things up.

After my unboxing and first impressions video a few weeks back, I've now been wearing the device over the last month and this is my full review.

In the review I compare it directly my current daily wearable, the Garmin Epix Pro Gen 2 watch, and the Polar Verity Sense heart rate monitor.

I look at how it's features such as BioCharge, Sleep, Stress, Heart Rate Variability hold up against the much more expensive Garmin watch.

I also assess how the Amazfit Helio Strap performs as a heart rate monitor during physical activities such as running, swimming and Olympic Weightlifting directly comparing it to the Polar Verity Sense.

I will also show how the relative effort scores in Strava compare between the devices.

Also compared is the performance of the Amazfit Helio Strap when worn as intended on the wrist, as well as on the bicep using a makeshift bicep band until one officially becomes available.
