[FR] C’est à même le sol, dans la poussière, à l’ombre des pins de l’espace lapidaire du Théâtre antique à Arles qu’on installa les deux musiciennes sud-coréennes et leurs majestueux instruments. Leurs sombres robes en payèrent légèrement le prix d'ailleurs. L’une joue du geomungo, qu’elle frappe avec un plectre en bambou, l’autre pince les vingt-six cordes de son gayageum. Ensemble, elles revisitent une tradition ancienne dans des arrangements qui multiplient les bifurcations. Un moment suspendu qui semble être parvenu à soulever le vent.

[ENG] It was directly on the ground, in the dust, beneath the shade of pines in the lapidary space of Arles’ Ancient Theatre, that the two South Korean musicians and their majestic instruments were installed. Their dark dresses paid a slight price for it moreover. One plays the geomungo, which she strikes with a bamboo plectrum; the other plucks the 26 strings of her gayageum. Together, they revisit an ancient tradition through arrangements rich in detours and digressions. A suspended moment, seemingly capable of stirring the wind itself.
