This first hour spent on a new charcoal drawing. The subject is a monarch butterfly sitting on a plant. I am creating this drawing based on a photo taken at a local botanical garden by someone I know.
I am wanting to do a 365 project where I catalog time spent working on either a painting or a drawing to further develop my skills in these areas. I may occasionally throw in a pottery video as that is the main art form I am currently studying.
