This is hands down my favorite healthy breakfast. It makes a huge difference in my day and in my energy levels. Right before turning 50, I spent a lot of time trying to get my energy levels up and deal with body changes and weight in areas that were hard to lose.
This healthy breakfast smoothie is the result of spending a lot of time combining amazing smoothie recipes to find one that works for me. While I am making it I think about the day ahead and this is how I keep full and energized when I have long days. I don’t always have time to sit down for lunch, so I have worked on this smoothie that is delicious and filled with healthy, nutritious ingredients.
I also started adding a lot of Maca especially since hitting menopause.
Full recipe
3/4 cup almond milk
1 scoop Alkamind Creamy Chocolate Powder
1 scoop Chia seeds
1 scoop Maca powder
1/2 scoop flax seeds
1 scoop hemp seeds
1 small scoop ceylon cinnamon
1 banana (or sub avocado)
handful of ice
splash of water
