The Rover 100 Kensington came as either a 3 or 5 Dr hatchback and was produced from 1994 to 1999. The 100 hailed from the final chapter of the Metro nameplate but brought with it a more modernized appearance with new bumpers, sill covers, revised bonnet design featuring the new style headlamps, the distinctive family grille, bolder paint colours and new chrome trim giving it an upscaled appearance. The 100 also saw the introduction of a flatter ride platform and front and rear anti-roll bars for improved handling with the suspension designed to isolate road noise.

The interior of this special edition Kensington enjoys the soft two tone velour interior with a bespoke cloth designed for a greater sense of quality and luxury and still fitted to the car is the factory original and working Radio/Cassette. The interior is very functional with very minimal creature comforts but it is exactly what you expect to find in a car such as this.

Under the bonnet sit the 1120cc 4 cylinder petrol fuel injection engine that is paired to a 5 speed manual gearbox. The car starts on the flick of the key and after having driven it back to the showroom we can confirm it drives exceptionally well. In the office we have the original Rover handbooks, radio instructions, service book and Lavender Hill Rover of Enfield Sales Invoice. We have just had it serviced, MOT tested and all 4 tyres replaced.
