Описание: In my behind-the-scenes series on the San Diego Cactus & Succulent Society, you'll meet show-and-sale organizers, volunteers, and vendors; see amazing plants; and find out what you need to know before you go.

Here, Part One takes you to the show the day before it opens. You'll meet growers and see the succulents they're proud of, and observe how volunteers do set-up. It's so efficient, volunteer/vendor Rick Bjorkland says it's "like a symphony.”

This is the earlier of two SDCSS annual shows.The big summer show takes place the first weekend in June. Both are in Balboa Park, near downtown. Check sdcss.net for details.
