Pianist and CSMA faculty member Chrysi Nanou presents "The Known World,” a memorable night of piano music and mixed media in Tateuchi Hall.
The performance features works for piano and electronic sounds, video and recordings inspired by and created with environmental data. The contemporary composers on the program bring their distinct voices to raise awareness of ongoing environmental changes through sound and music. Influenced by the natural world, these pieces together create an instantly compelling palette.
